Theme/Topic
We announce two topics for the drawing competition. One is given by the jury, and the other is drawn from a hat, which was written by the competitors.
Topic recommendation
Join the MondoCon Drawing Contest Group (titled „MondoCon Rajzverseny”) and write your topic suggestions as comments under the assigned post (titled „Helyben rajzverseny téma ajánló”), or like those comments written by others that you’d like to draw during the contest! Every topic will have as many labels in the hat as many likes it has received.
If you like any topic, show it by giving a like on the comment, because this way, the chances of drawing that specific topic will be much higher!

Those topics that are age-restricted, or violent, or are offensive by any other means, the jury can disqualify!
Course of the competition
- To apply for the competition, you simply have to be at the location a few minutes before the start. Bring your drawing tools, and be there on time! ☺
- The duration of the competition is 2 hours maximum. If you arrive a few minutes later, you can receive extra minutes to complete your artwork, but that extra time can be a maximum of 10 minutes!
If you started drawing on time, you have to finish drawing by the time the 2 hours have passed, and give the picture to the members of the jury, even if you haven’t fully completed your artwork. - You can only work on papers signed by the jury members!
You can bring your own paper too, but first you must have it signed by one of the jury members! Do not work on the side with the sign, it ruins the overall look of the artwork! - Those artworks brought from home, or those that are copied/traced from other existing images, are automatically disqualified!
- To be able to participate, you must bring your own art supplies and tools, because we cannot provide them.
- You must write the following data on the back of your drawing: civil name, artist/nickname, e-mail address, age.
- The artwork can be original, or fanart, but fanart DOES NOT MEAN copying an existing image. Only references can be used.
- You can interpret both of the topics, but it’s not obligatory, you can use only one if you’d like.
- If you decide during the drawing process that you wouldn’t like to participate in the contest, write it on the back of your artwork! Your drawing will take part in the exhibition, but we won’t take it into account when deciding on the rankings.
Exhibition and prizes
- Every drawing will take part in the exhibition, with names written under. If you want us to hide your civil name, and only write you artist name, write it on the bcak of your artwork!
- There will be a total of 3 winners, and a special prize winner.
- The prizes can be received only during the course of the MondoCon event, we cannot send them through postal service. If you cannot attend the award ceremony, we will keep your prize until the next MondoCon, after which the contents of the prize package will be distributed.
Location and time of the contest

Location: B building, next to the art exhibition. Pay attention the the Facebook group, to receive any information if anything is changed!
The tables next to the exhibition are the location of the topic announcement, and the drawing process itself.
You can draw elsewhere if you wish, but you cannot leave thelocation of the event during the creation of the artwork!
The results will be anounced during the Award ceremony, at the Main stage, from 16 o’clock! Please take your drawings no later than 17:15! Before taking down your artworks from the exhibition boards, always let the jury know!
