Did you know that there’s a cool media studio at MondoCon? This is where we usually photograph our cosplay craftsmanship and performance contestants in front of the MondoCon wall, and it’s also where we interview our guests.
So, what’s this about?
Our fantastic photography partner, Botond Maksai (Instagram @botondmaksai), has offered a professional photoshoot opportunity for beginner cosplayers in the studio equipped with lights and stands on Saturday afternoon (October 12th) at the Autumn MondoCon 2024!
Here are the details:
- 5 lucky cosplayers (either solo or in a team of up to 3) will get to participate in a professional studio photoshoot at the MondoCon Media Studio!
- Botond will not only take the photos but also edit them on the spot, providing you with 5 images for free use in digital format! (It’s important to tag him when you share them online!)
- The lucky winners will get a 30-minute slot with Botond.
- Linky Cosplay (Instagram: @linky_cosplay) will be there to assist, helping you strike poses, so don’t worry if you don’t have modeling experience; we’ll ensure you look your best!
How can you enter? It’s really simple!
- Take a photo of yourself in the cosplay you’d like to be photographed in and share it on Instagram as a public post!
- To make sure we see your post, tag the @mondo_hq Instagram account and use the hashtag #mondofotozas2024.
- In the description, mention how many people will be with you, what character you’re cosplaying, so we can prepare with pose ideas!
- Do this by September 30, 2024!
- After September 30th, we’ll gather the entries and randomly select the winners!
General Information:
- We will contact the winners on Instagram. It’s important that you provide us with an email address where we can reach you for scheduling! If you don’t respond within 3 business days, we will select someone else in your place.
- The photoshoot is not age-restricted, but everyone is asked to bring an ID, as participants under 14 years of age can only be photographed with a parental consent form.
- Please be on time for your scheduled session; if you’re late, we won’t be able to accommodate you, and unfortunately, you’ll miss out.
- A selection of the photos taken will be shared later on MondoCon’s social media platforms and may be used for promotional purposes.
- All participants must have a valid entry ticket to the event. The organizers do not provide free entry for the winners of the photoshoot.
Publication of the confirmed winners list:
- October 6, 2024 (Sunday) at 8 PM.
